It’s been 15 years since you were on my dissertation committee. You came to NYC, helped with the discussion (the last public appearance Chuck Tilly made before he passed away weeks later) and then came out to lunch with me and my parents to help me celebrate. The only committee member who did so. I miss you and your empathy, compassion and kindness beyond words.
