Carefully decorated with a beautiful center piece of a caricature that was taken from a student who always liked to doodle in class, and supported by other notes and news articles, Professor Steinberg’s door makes his interest in society and the study of sociology easy for passers-by to spot.
Famous for stepping into a bucket of water on the first day of class, Professor Steinberg’s passion for teaching seems perfectly natural. His father has been an English professor at Carnegie Mellon University for 60 years.
